about

Invisible Illness is about everyone's struggles with mental health. The almost mocking intro “My head is full of rain, because I have the invisible Illness” reflects how you can feel when you are trying to get help during an episode. It also reflects how the knee jerk reaction is to be medicated; "Take these pills, to help you along, sedate, Trauma is a dramatic orchestra". And how it’s almost like your confidence is taken away, but is still dormant, waiting until it’s safe to come back out; "Well, your confidant is confident And dying within, waiting for you"

“My head is full of rain, because I have the invisible Illness”
Take these pills, to help you along, sedate
Trauma is a dramatic orchestra
And the sounds, the harm, the devil’s charms
Are heads and shoulders, brains and heart
Dumb, so to speak, when your spoken to
No evidence, no further questions - my lord
Well, your confidant is confident
And dying within, waiting for you
And your invisible Illness
Invisible Illness
The verdict is out, and has been for years
It affects the way I communicate
I staged an intervention, no tickets were sold
And went around with bricks paved with gold
Dumb, so to speak, when your spoken to
No evidence, no further questions - my lord
Well, your confidant is confident
And dying within, waiting for you
And your invisible Illness
Invisible Illness
Solo
Well, our confidant is confident
And dying within, waiting for you
